Clinical skill isn't enough to open a program

Federal law governs the drug. State law governs who may practice and how. Your licensing board governs you personally. A KAP program can be compliant at one of those layers and exposed at another, and most clinics find out which one after something goes wrong.

Before you see your first KAP patient, you need answers to questions like these:

  • Who prescribes, and does your state let them do it independently?
  • Racemic ketamine off-label, or a REMS-certified esketamine program?
  • What does your informed consent have to say about off-label use?
  • How do you answer the FDA's 2023 warning about compounded ketamine?
  • How long must you keep records, and how will you store session video?
  • What do you owe self-pay patients under the No Surprises Act?

Leadership walks through each of these, explains the reasoning, and gives you editable templates so your answers become written policy.

  • You've taken K2C, or a clinician on your team has, and you need the program around it

It isn't the right fit if

Questions

Ā

Do I need to take K2C first?

Leadership is built to pair with K2C. Take K2C first or alongside it. The leadership action items build directly on the K2C Clinical Didactic, and the program decisions make more sense once you know the protocol.

I'm a clinic owner, not a therapist. Is this for me?

Yes. Leadership is written for whoever is responsible for the program or owns the business. If your clinicians are taking K2C, this is the course for the person building the program around them.

Does Leadership carry CE hours?

No. Leadership is a business and operations course. K2C is the clinical training.

Is this legal advice?

No. These materials show how one clinic ran its KAP program. Before anything becomes policy, have it reviewed by an attorney who knows healthcare law in your state, your malpractice carrier, and your prescribing partner.

Can I get a refund?

All sales are final, because the templates are available for immediate download.

Build the program your clinicians are trained to run.

K2C prepares the clinician. Leadership prepares the program. Together, they take you from training to a KAP program you can stand behind.
